The Challenge

Manually renaming scanned files to match their invoice numbers was taking days and introducing critical data entry errors.

What I Built

A Python script that runs on the local machine for data compliance. It scans each file, extracts the invoice number and renames the file instantly.

Results

  • Files never leave the machine, keeping data compliant
